This gig never had any closure. I would get calls from kids who said they downed pills or what-have-you, and I could hear them begin to fade. I would implore them to hang up and dial 9-1-1. I would repeat it, inform them (talk over them, pleading) I was hanging up so they could in turn make that emergency call, and then I would hang-up. I can still feel how heavy that phone felt as I put it down. *silence*

Every once in a blue moon, a voice will sound familiar and the echoes of those calls will ring from my memory.

Rehab continues. The (slow) progression from Curtsey Lunge to Dragon Squat is essentially a loaded externally rotated (varied) tibial position.

After slowly progressing Knee CARs, I started to slowly load the position. I didn’t force said externally rotated tibial position with the Lunge or Squat itself. I reversed engineered what you see in the vid: starting from an isometrically external rotated position and progressively planting the foot and loading (incrementally).
